THE WEEK’S HORROR HEADLINES (2nd – 9th March)

Not got time to trawl the web for all the top horror news of the last week? Well allow me to give you a bite-size breakdown of the all biggest nightmarish news!

1. STEPHEN KING’S MISERY HEADING TO BROADWAY

There is a Broadway adaptation of Stephen King’s Misery in the pipeline! And even more exciting — BRUCE WILLIS is set to take the lead role of Paul Sheldon! This is Willis' Broadway debut, so it’s exciting stuff. House of Cards’ Elizabeth Marvel will take the other lead role of demented Annie.
William Goldman, the man who adapted the novel for the movie screenplay, will also handle the stage adaptation.

2. … AND KING POSTS A FREE SHORT STORY ONLINE

Not had enough Stephen King? The master of modern horror published a new short story entitled A Death on the New Yorker’s website, which you can read RIGHT HERE.
It’s very good stuff, so check it out!

3. MICHAEL DOUGHERTY’S KRAMPUS CAST AND CREW ANNOUNCED

I’m a big fan of Dougherty’s Trick 'r Treat, so I can’t wait to see what he does with his Christmas-themed horror flick, Krampus.
Well, we’re one step closer as Adam Scott and Toni Collette will star in the film. Allison Tolman and Emjay Anthony are already onboard.

4. LADY GAGA JOINS AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Singer and professional weirdo Lady Gaga will join the cast of the next season of American Horror StoryHotel
Following the news that series stalwart and megastar Jessica Lange may well not return for the next incarnation of the hit Fox show, this probably isn’t the heavyweight acting announcement that fans have been clamouring for. Oh well.

5. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 3 JUMPSCARES IT’S WAY ONTO STEAM

Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 has appeared on Steam without warning! The latest instalment is set 30 years later and — brace yourself Fazbear Fans — the bonus games and ending FINALLY reveal the secret backstory that have had hordes of fans theorising online for the past year.
